چکیده
Bishop’s seed (Trachyspermum ammi L.) is a vital neutraceutial plant used as spice and also medicinal for curing different ailments diseases of humans animals. The study presents the in vitro regeneration using cotyledonary node explant taken from germinated seeds. All mediums this were comprised MS (0.44%) medium having 3.0%sucrose 0.65% agar with pH 5.8. Expalnts inoculated on enriched 0.10-1.60 mg/L Thidiazuron (TDZ) alone or combination 0.10 IBA (Indole-3-butyric acid) seven weeks under 16/8 light photoperiod provided cool-white fluorescent lamps. Thereafter, explants sucultured without any growth regulators (PGRs) five more similar culture conditions. Results revealed 100% shoot frequency 42.85-100.00%. count length ranged 3.43-19.40 1.04-2.74 cm respectively. highest (19.40) (2.74 cm) observed Ms 0.20 TDZ TDZ+0.10 Relatively low rooting was recorded containing adaptation percentage plantlets pots peat moss.

High frequency axillary shoot proliferation and plant regeneration from cotyledonary nodes of pomegranate (Punica granatum L.)
A complete protocol is presented for in vitro regeneration of pomegranate (Punica granatum L.), a tropical fruit tree, using cotyledonary nodes derived from axenic seedlings. Shoot development was induced from cotyledonary nodes on Murashige and Skoog (1962) (MS) medium supplemented with 2.3±23.0 mM benzyladenine (BA) or kinetin (Kn). Both type and concentration of cytokinin signi®cantly in ̄uen...
متن کاملAntifilarial lead molecules isolated from Trachyspermum ammi.
Lymphatic filariasis is caused by infection with the parasitic filarial nematodes Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi and B. timori, transmitted by mosquitoes. The lack of an adulticidal drug poses a challenge to filariasis elimination, hence it is essential to develop an effective antifilarial drug which could either kill or permanently sterilize the adult worms. In the reported work the in vi...
متن کاملIN VITRO REGENERATION OF SHOOT AND CORM FROM THE DIF'FERENT EXPLANTS OF CROCUS SATWUS L
Different explants of Crocus sativus L. such as corm, style, ovary, petal, anther and leaf were cultured on LS and MS media supplemented with NAA and BAP or 2,4-D plus BAP at different combinations. Shoot and corm induction occurred in addition to the formation of other organs. Efficient plantlet regeneration with strong roots occurred at 1 mg 1-I of both NAA and BAP. An increase in 2,4-D l...
متن کاملHigh-Frequency in Vitro Direct Shoot Regeneration from Nodal Explants of Hyssop Plant (Hyssopus officinalis L.)
Considering great medicinal value of Hyssopus officinalis L. and possibility of its mass production through in vitro culture, two individual experiments was conducted. Effect of various concentrations (0, 2.2, 4.4 and 11 µmol) of TDZ and BAP in combination with 1 µmol of IAA on direct regeneration from nodal explants were assessed. Significant difference between treatments was observed (P≤ 0.01...
متن کاملHigh-throughput direct regeneration of soybean mutant and common lines from cotyledonary node
Direct regenerations by using mature cotyledonary node as a explants has been shown to be time-saving and convenient strategy for micropropagation of soybean. So we have evaluated regeneration protocol through single shoot using cotyledonary node as a rapid and efficient protocol for two soybean cultivars and one mutant line. Cotyledonary nodes explants obtained from 7-days-old in vitro</em...
